This new korean drama is making me crazy having me wondering which girl will he choose in the end of the day. I love this drama so much so i feel that i need to tell you more about this brillANT MBC BLOCKBUSTER DRAMA.

Short summary of East of Eden
‘East of Eden’ is an epic 50-part drama series that begins in a mining village in the 1960s. The drama, which revolves around family love, life-long friendships and bitter revenge, is filled with suspense as well as surprising twists and turns that will keep the viewers on their toes. ‘East of Eden’ is screen writer Na Yeon-suk’s first major work in ten years.

The compelling new drama series made headlines even before its first episode was aired, mainly because of its star-studded cast. The drama features some of Korea’s most celebrated younger and older generation actors including Lee Mi-suk, Yoo Dong-geun, Jo Min-ki, Lee Jong-won, Song Seung-heon, Yeon Jung-hoon, Jung Hye-young, Han Ji-hye and Lee Da-hae.

Producers of say some 25 million dollars were invested into the making of the drama. They also added that nobody, except the writer of the show, will be able to predict how the initial friendships, family ties and resentments between characters, will turn out in the end.

The first and second episodes were aired on August 26. Child actors will take on the role of their grown-up counterparts until the fourth episode. From the fifth episode, viewers can look forward to seeing Song Seung-heon, Yeon Jeong-hoon, Lee Dae-hae, Lee Yeon-hee and Jung Hye-young.

The drama begins with a conflict that erupts between Shin Tae-hwan, who overrides the mining union as a way to achieving his personal ambitions and Lee Ki-chul, the head of the union. Ki-chul is killed and his son Dong-chul, who is forced to leave his hometown away from his father’s enemy, vows to take revenge.

Producers of the show stress that ‘East of Eden’ is not just your typical story of revenge. It is a complex story of love, hate, conflict, betrayal and desire intertwined with elements of humanism and mercy.

In the meantime, ‘East of Eden’ recently got contacts from Southeast Asian broadcasters asking to sell its broadcast copyright for five million dollars. An official of the production company said ‘East of Eden’ is expected to follow the footsteps of ‘Winter Sonata’ and ‘Jewel in the Palace’, two popular Korean drama series that captivated viewers all over Asia. This drama consist all the famous and talented actor and also the comeback drama for the most hottest actor name Seung Song Heun. He is so damn hot in this drama.

MAny of the members are debating in soompi whether this guy will end up with which girl in the end of the day. Including me.But i personally love YR and DC!!!!
